TY for your reply NunoHi Rick! I take zinc along with some other suplements like Vit D or fish oil but just to help my imunity.
I was prescribed by two different ENT with corticoids, ginko biloba, vitamins and other's and nothing diminuished the loudness or the distress.
My neuro surgeon, and my current ENT have the same opinion, like the overall opinion that i have finded over qualifed medical articles about tinnitus, there aren't any suplements, vitamins or minerals that might improve tinnitus, one might feel that a particular suplement effectively helped him, but it's very subjective and a individual opinion.
Personally i have stopedd for some time in that topic or search.
Wish you well.
Nuno
I also take magnesium glycinate. It has that calming effect also. But inwoild
Like to take some vitamin d. My dr told me to start taking multivitamin. Like Mens once a day. Under 50.
Yes, i agree, eat healthy is the first thing to do, and also manage the weight.I will say this that I prioritize eating healthy above taking vitamins. For vitamin d to get back up to normal levels when there's a deficiency, my doctor told me that I can take a few months. You probably wouldn't see a significant effect over a short period of time but if you do have a deficiency, and a lot of people do, you might see some really good results over the next few months.
